Background
“Sydney Harbour is Australia's premier cruise ship destination and the only port in Australia with two dedicated cruise passenger terminals: the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and the White Bay Cruise Terminal.
Sydney has always been a desirable destination on the world cruise map. With its iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Sydney remains one of the world’s most beautiful destinations” (www.sydneyports.com.au).

As the cruise industry has grown in Australia, Sydney Harbour has kept up by investing in its facilities in order to accommodate more ship and passenger traffic. In February 2011 the Minister for Planning approved the new White Bay Cruise Terminal on 2 February 2011, which is now under construction.

Task
You are TUI’s revenue manager and also responsible for the planning of the cruises. TUI is interested in adding Sydney’s White Bay Cruise Terminal (SWBCT) to their portfolio of ports. You are especially keen on contracting SWBCT as you are impressed by the level of service they can offer cruise lines. Furthermore, this Australian company has been very active in environmental protection and therefore you believe they would fit perfectly in your new “Green Cruises” section in the Arke brochures.
In order to get detailed information for your brochure, you phone the nautical manager at SWBCT and you both discuss the following possibilities:

  * USPs
  * Target groups
