The Holy Grail of the wearable display industry

For a long time wearable displays weren’t adapted for everyday use because of their imposing overall dimensions and odd appearance. But finally, Vizux has been resolved these problems and proudly presents its SMART Glasses technology.
It consists of integrated HD display engines and waveguide optics, fitted into the convenient eyewear. This technology is capable of creating that is then mixed and overlaid onto user’s real world view. Beside of that, SMART Glasses are designed to work with various SMART Devices, typically connected to the internet, which makes them a much more useful thing than just a wearable TV.
      Overall, Vuzix SMART Glasses can broaden the users’ sensory perception across a greatly expanded light spectrum, recognize their environment and real world position, even while recording and transmitting what the user sees.
Vuzix is planning a line of both monocular and binocular SMART Glasses for the Commercial, Industrial and Consumer markets. Every market’s model will be designed for specific applications. For example, an Industrial SMART Glasses will be properly equipped with built-in cameras for AR recognition/tracking of objects to assist in a maintenance and repair duties; while Commercial one may be designed to use as a Thermal and Tactical Monocular Display and equipped with thermal cameras to assists First Responder’s in need of rescue and other applications.
If you’ll ask my opinion, well, I’ll say that it is a one quite exciting thing. Those SMART Glasses can be a descent tool in many various applications. But, on the other hand, this brochure contains only concepts, not the final product. While it is still yet to come, many things may be changed, and release version of Smart Glasses may not be the same as that conceptual one.
