                                                                      Introduction
        This paper will identify and address the circumstances and description of the organization, facts, actors and issues surrounding the negotiations of the renovation of the parsonage located at 9868 Monona Drive, Poway California belonging to the Calvary Baptist Church located at 820 Crosby Street, San Diego Ca 92106.   Calvary Baptist Church is one of the oldest churches in San Diego, over 125 years.   The current active membership is approximately 500, compared to more than 1500 during the sixties, seventies, and eighties.   The current Pastor has been in place since 2012.   Prior to his arrival the last two Pastors have served a combined total of 56 years; 40 for the first and 16 for the last.   The church has always cared and provided for the Pastor and his family, and has shown their appreciation by providing a parsonage where he and his family can live safely and comfortably without having to worry about their cost of living expenses.
        Before the parsonage was established, a housing allowance was set aside to cover all living accommodations and expenses for the Pastor and his family which were included as part of his benefit package.   The property was initially built in the early sixties and was purchased by the church in the late sixties.   It is located in an exclusive part of Poway which is considered a middle class neighborhood.
