This is Me
Style is one of the most creative ways of expression. Style can be expressed in hundreds of ways. Every single thing around us is a form of one’s own personal style. Architecture, cars, logos, furniture, advertisements, graphics; are all ways that style is demonstrated. Makeup, Hairstyles, and Clothing are the forms of how I choose to demonstrate style.
I am really not a make- up everyday kind of woman. On most days you may see me with only lip-gloss on my thin lips. However; when I am getting ready for a night out on the town or special event; I wear mascara, lip liner, concealer, eye shadow, and lip gloss. I make sure that I use shadow and mascara to highlight my almond shaped eyes. I use dark liner on my lips to make them appear fuller. I also compliment my high cheek bones with a little blush.
I go to the salon every week to have my hair done. Now that I am getting older I have my stylist pay close attention to my few gray strands that are peeking through. I spend an hour and a half under the hair dryer because my hair is so thick. Having my hair done is makes me feel feminine. I wear my chestnut colored hair in long flowing curls that compliment my round face. My hair has style, personality, and a life of its own. I feel that no matter what I am wearing my hair speaks for itself.
The way I dress is not really any particular type of style. I do think that I have an eye for fashion but; it's just what feels the most comfortable for that day. A pair of loose fitting jeans with a white cotton t-shirt and tennis shoes is what you may find me in 50% of the time. I do love to get dressed up though. It’s just something about sliding into something that you know makes you look and feel like a million bucks.
