  1. The light will be perceived green even if the plant is grown inside. It is a chemical, it will have to be green regardless.
  2. Each person views different color because people have different spectrums.
  3. Absorbance is the light that is absorbed in or by sample. Transmittance: light that is not absorbed by sample or fractional amount of light entering and exting sample. Reflection: Occurs when there are two substances of different refractive indices.
  4. The ocean is denser, and the salt on the ocean reflects light back, giving it color (blue). Whereas the water in the river does not reflect instead, the light is absorbed and, is reflected when it hits the sand, giving it a brown color.
  5. In conventional titration, human eye detects the color change. When using an instrument, the photo detector detects change and it is perceived differently from the human eye due to, physiological reasons and, genetics. Not everyone perceives cooler the same, people have different spectrums (i.e. color blind people vs. normal perception of colors). Thus, making this an issue for titration analysis, especially when it comes to color changes.
  6. Green chemical solution does not emit green light. It absorbs all frequencies of visible light shining on it except, for a groups of frequencies that is perceived as green which are transmitted. Chemical X is perceived as green only because the human eye distinguishes between wavelengths.
  7. We see reflected colloidal dispersion of the product because the light is not entirely absorbed and the rest of the light is scattered off the product giving us light green color.
  8. Blue has   shorter wavelength thus it has a greater temperature than red, leading it to a longer wavelength.
