Iceland
After I started researching Iceland I began thinking I’d like to visit there someday. There’s a lot of interesting things to learn about and I think it would be a really great thing to experience one day.
Some key facts about Iceland are it’s populated with about 304,000 people. Its area is 103,000 sq km and the capital is Reykjavik. Iceland is one of the most volcanically active countries in the world. Their official language is Icelandic, English and Danish.
Iceland’s climate is tempered by the Gulf Stream. Summers are hot and winters are rather cold for them. From the end of May and the beginning of August there are nearly 24hours of daylight in Reykjavik, while in the northern part of Iceland the sun barley sets at all. Even know its name is Iceland it is only the northern part that skiing conditions are reasonably certain.
I looked up things to do on the web and there are tons of fun things. There is whale watching they are frequently sighted just off the ocean coast. You could go horse back riding over lava fields and deserted beaches; they say that’s a very popular activity. From what I read hiking is incredible. Some good places are skatafell national park to the West fjords from the highlands to the shaefellines Peninsula.
So I suggest in the near future you should visit Iceland. I’ve seen pictures it’s so beautiful there. I know I’m hopefully going to and remember if your going to the northern half bring a jacket.
