My Causes of Attending College

College is a very important goal in life to accomplish. Completing college isn’t easy for a lot of people. I wouldn’t say its because lack of intelligence, but for the fact that lot of people have other things that interfere with their lives and keep them side-tracked from maintaining focus. I joined college so that the future ahead of me holds a successful career. Enrollment at Southeastern Illinois College has been a blast for my first year. The college has a nice atmosphere and the people and faculty is great! It all helps with my major, psychology.
Psychology as a major is really exciting and it keeps me interested at all times. Knowing how the mind works, and giving helpful advice to people who need help with their problems really keeps me in the field. Money wise in this job field varies, but promises a good salary.   In order for me to get to that point, I am going for six years to earn a masters degree in psychology. A lot of work will be needed for me to succeed in this path to pursue my life career.   Another big aspect in psychology is having excellent social skills with other people. This is a cause for me because I am very good with keeping a conversation with someone, and I always seem to help people resolve the conflicts they’re having in life. I would say as of now I am doing alright in college, but I know I can always do better. Nobody said college was easy, and I now understand that it isn’t a joke. It takes a lot of time, hard work, and responsibility to pass and become what you’ve always wanted.
Another cause of joining college is because I wanted to show my family and mainly myself that I can accomplish this task I’m going to be faced with for several more years down the road. I am the first person in my family to attend an actual college, and it inspires me to know that I have made it this far.
