Should students be able to use their cell phones in school? I believe that students should be able to use their cell phones in school because of many reasons. One is parents can keep in touch with their children when school is going on. They can just send them a text message or leave them a voice mail if they need to tell them something that is very important and can not wait until the end of school. The students can also contact their parents if they have forgotten something at home and they needed it for a class or if they have forgotten to tell them something about the night after school, like if there was a cancel in a sport or they need to tell them that they are going to a friend’s house after school. Students can also ask their friend about something, like homework or about the night after school. They can also tell their friend or boyfriend/girlfriend to come to their room during seminar, or they can ask them for their notes if they weren’t at class.
Also what if there is an emergency at school, the student can just text their parents to come pick them up or just to alert them that there is a problem at school that there is a problem at school. Instead of waiting in line a very long line to use the phone to call their parents, which could take hours just to get at the front of the line depending on how many students have to call their parents, which is a lot of students if you can’t use their cell phone. The same is with the other way if the parent needs to tell their child something very important like if a family member has died, or if they forgot to tell them that they can’t pick them up till later or if they forgot to tell them that they need to hurry outside after school because they have a meeting to get to. If a student becomes ill and does not want to go to the school nurse they can just text their parents to come pick them up, or if the student is on school grounds but is not by the school building for some reason and there is a situation that...
