When you see the word ‘play’, the first thing that surfaces in your mind is anything associated with pleasure and enjoyment. Play is frequently perceived as a frivolous and non-serious activity, but in some aspects of play, we can observe some seriousness.

Play may also serve as a pretext, allowing people to explore reactions of others by engaging in playful interaction. Flirting is an
action                                                                                                                                                                           whereby one person obliquely indicated an interest toward another. Flirting may involve speaking and acting in a way that suggests greater intimacy than is generally considered appropriate to the relationship.This may be accomplished by communicating a sense of playfulness.

Sometimes play is dangerous, such as in extreme sports or with materials that could be hazards. This type of play could be considered stunt play, whether engaging in play frighting, sky-diving, or riding a device at high speed in an unusual manner or even, playing with fire.
Risk takers freqently entertain themselves with these extreme sports to get the thrill out of it.

The most common association with play is childhood play. Remember the childhood times all of us had been through, where there seemed to be endless possibilities and chances for us to reach out to. Childhood games we have all played includes the playground that almost all children have been to. The playground is not only a limited space with a few entertaining equipments to climb around and run about, but it is a symbolism of a child’s freedom and space. Hence, play can be pretty meaningful stuff and most people, particularly those deprived of it, are ignorant of this fact. Play is freely chosen, intrinsically motivated and personally perceived as child development.
