In all around the globe the population density is much higher in cities than to villages. It proofs that people generally prefer to live in urban areas rather than rural areas.
Rural people always have to depend on cities for some basic necessities of life, such as education, medical and moreover to earn their bread and butter.
This is the very reason in recent era that more and more people are rushing to cities for betterment. The scenario in oriental under developed countries like India is more alarming and prominent.
In our country infrastructure of most of the villages are insufficient to provide basic needs of normal livelihood and people are compel to think that urban life is more habitable.
Thus the cities are becoming over crowed and polluted day by day. In coming future the cities in all around the world will lose their habitability criteria.
Environmental pollution will soon engulf the city life. Congestion in transport system   due to over use of vehicles will be a major problem. Already we are facing the bad affect of ‘global warming’ throughout the world.
Somehow the developed countries may rectify the problem but under developed countries in recent future will strive to overcome the consequence of population explosion in their cities.
