 When you were a kid you didn’t think twice about the things that you did., like how you made your parents suffer during a routine trip to the grocery store as you’re throwing a tantrum because you didn’t get the toy you wanted.   We never thought our actions   made a difference in other peoples lives. We wanted what we wanted now, no matter what it took to get it. In the novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, the main character, Huck Finn, seems to think about the outcome of his actions and who they will affect more than your normal   10-12 year old.
Huck Finn affects the lives of many people when he fakes his own death. Not only did he affect the life of his father, whom was mostly just holding Huck hostage, Huck affected the life of the Widow, who took him in and clothed him and cared for him when his father was an unfit parent. Another person Huck affected was a runaway slave named Jim. Jim ran away to find his wife and children and be free. When Huck staged his murder the people of the town immediately blamed the runaway slave Jim. Another way Huck’s actions affected someone was when he stole the gold back from the duke and king to give it back to the family that lost their father.
Huck affects   widow because she thinks he got killed. How would you feel if you thought that a person that you have cared for and thought of as a son was brutally murdered? Huck didn’t think about how staging his murder would affect the widow because he didn’t want to get beat by his dad anymore. Huck didn’t mind living with his dad, except when he beat him. Huck never really cared how his actions affected the widow, this would be typical of a child like Huck.
Another person that Huck affected a lot is Jim. Huck affected Jim when they find each other in the woods. Jim would not have gotten bitten by the rattle snake if Huck wasn’t there.
