A good company logo design is not an option for any business that wants to stay in business. A good company logo is a necessity. Being able to place a crisp, good looking logo on all of the company promotional and administrative material is the first step towards creating solid brand recognition. Its also crucial for developing company awareness. With a well designed company logo design, a company will always be putting its best foot forward.

Logo comes different types, wordmark logo, lettermark logo, brandmark logo and iconic logo. Wordmark logo is name explains what the business does. The most widely used of all logo type, the worldmark focuses on text and typeface but can incorporate other element as well. A wordmark may be best suited for companies whose name effectively describes what they do. Without graphical elements to convey that message, a literal interpretation of the word is often necessary. A wordmark is often text only with unique typographic treatments. Most often however, the company name is incorporated together with simple identity. The representation of the word essentially becomes a symbol of the company.
Lettermark logo is similar to a worldmark, a lettermark is a wholly typographic mark, usually involving initials or abbreviations. Monograms and anagrams are lettermarks. The representation of the letters essentially becomes a symbol of the company.

Brandmark symbol is a graphic symbol, a simple but strong graphic symbol, often abstract, that complements an aspect of a business or service and represents a company by association.

Iconic logotype is combination of a brandmark symbol and wordmark together. Iconic logotypes are also referred to as combination marks.
