In the Catholic Church, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is taught. The resurrection of Jesus gives us Hope in our lives and is shown In Matthew 28:1 -20; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-53;   and John 20:21. The story of the resurrection of Jesus is –
                                                                                   
The morning after Jesus had been placed in the tomb, Mary Magdalene went to visit the tomb. It was very early in the morning and it was still dark outside.
She saw that the stone had been removed from the front of the tomb and that the tomb was empty.
She ran to Peter to inform him what she had seen. Then, Peter and another Apostle, John, ran to the tomb to see for themselves. The body of Jesus was gone and the only thing left behind was the cloth that was used to wrap his body for the burial. The Apostles were confused, they did not understand what was happening. How could the tomb be empty? Where was the body of Jesus?When followers of Jesus came to the tomb and saw the stone moved, they were confused. The same day in the evening, Jesus came to the disciples and stood among them. But they were terrified, thinking that they were seeing a spirit. Eventually they realized it was Jesus Christ and he had risen from the dead.
Jesus had rose from the dead giving inspiration to the people and renewed hope that anything is possible. When Jesus died, most people were sad and grieving and felt that they had lost direction and leadership, especially his followers. This is how people feel when anyone they love dies. They feel they are gone forever. In this case, although scared at first, when Jesus resurrected, all their hurt was gone and they had much to look forward to. People were excited that Jesus would teach again and spread his wisdom.
Everyone had something to look forward to again, this brought happiness and confidence that things would get better.   Having hope inspires people to be positive and Jesus’ resurrection inspired his...
