Enclosed, you will find my resume for your consideration. I would like to work in the Criminal Justice Dept. assisting as needed.

My resume includes details of my education and work experience which reflects my qualifications for this position. I have a positive attitude and I am able to multi-task as I did for five years at TFM Recreation Foundation, Inc. as a floater at the youth center and a personal assistant to Pastor Ann DeCoteau. My volunteer service to the community there turned into a full time position within a month.

Directing the community children’s choir and teaching GED prep at TFM equipped me with leadership skills that I later employed to train two new Parks Enforcement Patrol officers for the NYC Parks & Recreation Dept. I also trained six Peace Officers in effective patrol and search procedures for the Dept. of Juvenile Justice. I was voted into office two years in a row at George E. Wibecon Preparatory Academy as Treasurer and Learning Leader of the Parent Teachers Association.

I am currently furthering my education and have completed ASA’s Resume’ Workshop and Interviewing Skills Workshop. In April of this year I completed a 12 week Parenting Skills Course that focused on detecting Child Abuse and NYS laws pertaining to children to keep my knowledge of the law sharp and accurate. In May of this year I completed a 4 week Adult Self-Defense Course the builds confidence and self preservation skills.
