Manipal University (MU), Manipal, India was established in 1993 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, Government of India and today it has 20 constituent institutions comprising medical, dental, engineering, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, life sciences, management, mass communication, information sciences, hotel management, regenerative medicine... etc. Among the above institutions the flagship institution, viz. KMC Manipal and Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal has completed 50 years of service to the society in the field of medical, healthcare and engineering.
