STDs

STD’s are sexually transmitted diseases that are caused by having unprotected sex with someone who is already infected. There are more than 20 different types of STD’s but most common are Vaginitis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Genital warts. These diseases infect more than 19 million people every year. And some that people cannot cure because of how complex the virus is. STD’s can also be infected anywhere in the body.

Which Germs Cause the diseases?

Every virus has a germ that is help to be created. Like Vaginitis is caused by three different germs called bacterial vaginosis, candida vaginitis also known as yeast infection, and trichomonas vaginitis. Chlamydia is cause by a germ called Chlamydia trachomatis which can damage a woman’s reproductive organ. Gonorrhea is one of the most common it is caused by the germ called Neisseria gonorrhoeae, a bacterium that can grow and multiply easily in the warm, moist areas of the reproductive organs, like the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes in women, and in the urethra   in women and men. Syphilis is caused by the germ called the Treponema pallidum. Then there are Genital Warts which are also a very common of the few and are caused by the Human Papilloma virus.

How are these diseases transmitted?

These viruses are mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse with someone who is already infected with the virus, but they are transmitted in the same way. By Vaginal, anal, and oral sex.

Which are the signs and symptoms?

Vaginitis symptoms are:
  * Discharge
  * Itching
  * Odors
  * Irritation
Chlamydia symptoms are:
For female are:
  *   Bleeding between menstrual periods
  *   Vaginal bleeding after sex
  *   Abdominal pain
  *   Painful intercourse
  *   A low-grade fever
  *   A painful sensation during urination
  *   The urge to urinate...
