How to lose weight

I was planning to go out with my friend. When I was dressing up, I was embarrassed to find out that my dress didn’t fit me. That ruined my plan and I couldn’t go out. I decided to lose weight. Losing weight is very easy if you follow these steps.
The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself, you should know why you want to reduce your weight, this will help you to stay focus and motivated in your weight loss program. Set a goal for you weight reduction that is easy for you to achieve, if your goal is not practical then you will get discouraged and stop following your regime. Start with setting a goal of losing one pound in your first week because the body likes slow changes. If you achieve your first goal you can set your next goal to lose two pounds per week, you should not try to lose more than two pounds per week. Losing more than 2 pounds in a week usually means that you are losing water weight and lean muscle mass instead of losing excess fat. If you do this, you will have less energy, and you will most likely gain the weight back.
Second, drink a lot of water, drink one glass of water before your meal; it will help digestion and also will keep you from overeating. Eat healthy food, fresh fruits are great for your health and will satisfy your need for sweets. Whole vegetables have lots of vitamins and minerals, so eat more green, orange and yellow vegetables. Steam them to retain the most nutritional value. Remember to eat a variety of foods to get all of the vitamins and minerals you need to be healthy.
Remember if you want to lose weight and stay healthy, exercise is essential. Running, walking, cycling, and swimming help you to burn calories and keep your heart healthy. Try to get at least thirty to forty minutes of exercise at least three or four days per week.
I lost weight by following these steps. If I can lose weight so can you.
