Hispanic Heritage Month

      On September 15, 1821 Hispanic heritage month was born. This is when many Spanish countries declared its independence like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. There are many important Spanish Americans such as Alex Rodriguez who plays on the New York Yankees and is very know for all his achievements during his baseball career. Alex Rodriguez also signed the highest baseball contract ever created which was 275 million dollars. Some of Alex Rodriguez achievements are most homeruns by a Hispanic player which is a total of 612 since 1994, youngest to hit 500 homeruns, most stolen bases in a 50 home run season, and much more.   Another famous Hispanic is Oscar Aristides Renta Fiallo was a very known for his fashion. Oscar left home from the Dominican Republic in order to study fashion in Spain and further his fashion career. This eventually landed him a career in designing clothes for Christian Dior which is the very famous brand Dior. Also a well known Hispanic singer is Karina Pasian. She was born on July 18 1991. Karina first learned Russian but during her career learned how to sing in 6 different languages which further her career more rapidly than others. By the age of 13 almost every known record labeled wanted her due to her great singing and natural talent. Karina has also remixed many know songs such as “with you” By Chris Brown and many others.
