ABSTRACT
        Pesticides are chemicals that are used to control pests, such as insects, rats, weeds and moulds. In most cases, these chemicals are poisons that kill the pest, but in some cases they act as a repellent (i.e. odors that make the pests stay away), or they stop the pest from growing and reproducing. These chemicals are not only poisonous to the pest, but also to the farmers, sprayers and poisonous to those food consumers at last. Pesticides are chemicals that by design are meant to kill or harm living organisms. Anything that can kill or harm other living organisms has the potential to harm or kill human beings too. The same pesticides which proved to be a major cause for their despair were consumed by these farmers to kill themselves. However, another important aspect of pesticides poisoning and killing human beings is through exposure to the toxic fumes. The foods we consume might have some remains of the pesticide, a chemical substance used to terminate insects and pests. The author tries to focus on the most essential area where now people go for GREEN VEGETABLES in the retail marketing era. This paper throws a light to bring social awareness among people, a warning to the farmers and to strike a chord the responsibility of the Government to save from harm the life of the affected people.
