Teenagers should not smoke because smoking is the most preventable cause of death around the world, as it may lead to many kind of cancer or illnesses for instance lung cancer.
Many teens start smoking because they have friends or older siblings who smoke. Some teens look at smoking as a way to get through parties, dates, or other difficult social situations. Some teens smoke because they feel they are young and that smoking may make them to appear more like an adult.
People who smoke think by smoking it can make them look more elegant and cool, especially teens who think it can make them more popular. But what they don’t know   all their doing is harming their healthy body. Smokers usually have a lot of wrinkles, and might end up in the hospital for the damages they have caused to their body by smoking.

Even though you have to be over 18 many people intend to break the law by sending another person to buying cigarette packets for them. Adults are big role models for children, as part of growing up kids may see their parents smoking which encourages them to smoke. Usually people smoke because they think it can help them in hard situations, so it can calm them down a bit. As said before teenagers think smoking can make them more popular and attractive, but as they grow older not only cigarettes damage the inside but it also damages the outside. Stinky breath, yellow rotten teeth are not what they look forward to but it will happen sooner or later if they keep smoking.

Sport is a big part of a teenagers life as it keeps their body fit and healthy but smokers find it hard to compete in physical activities, for the reason of rapid heartbeat, decreased circulation, and shortness of breath which are also some of the effects that a cigarette can make in your body.

Finally, do not get encouraged by your friends or anyone else to smoke. Non smokers have healthier bodies, more protein and energy whilst smokers have the opposite things and one of the good things...
