My father invented a machine that generates electricity in a manner compliant with environment conservation. He isn't the right person to take this to the next phase, so he asked me to get involved.

I will (initially) own my father's machine. I don't want to run a business.

I've labelled the world's areas in three regions:
Region 3: Selling the machine is illegal at this time.
Region 2 & 1: Selling the machine is legal. A houseowner with the machine can supply electricity to the power company, which in turn sells the electricity to others at a profit.
Region 2: A private energy supplier who generates more power than s/he uses receives no bill for the electricity used.
Region 1: A private energy supplier who generates more power than s/he uses receives financial compensation for the surplus electricity generated.

Any businessperson considering selling this machine faces these problems:
(a) The machine is easier to sell in regions having a smaller number;
(b) The machine is easier to sell in regions familiar with clean energy issues;
(c) The machine is hard to protect from copying.

However, for a lobby group whose mission is clean energy for all people, worldwide, the machine plus my citizenships may be a vehicle to:
(a) Legalise multiple energy providers and mandate payment to those providers (IE: turn region 3 into 2, and turn region 2 into 1);
(b) Provide advocacy to governments, businesses and in education on clean energy issues;
(c) Let a certain amount of copying slide by... as long as the lobby group has the funds it needs to attain its goals, copying (especially 2nd rate) furthers the lobby group's mission.

I hope to find people who have experience in political lobby groups and who are effective in creating managed change. Ideally, one or two of them will know more about clean energy than I've managed to learn in the past two months. Ideally, a group of people is formed... people who already know each other, who work well...
