The Road

Arrival/Registration
Person 1: Man I’m excited. I wonder if this retreat is going to be fun. I wonder who is coming. (gasp) I hope Josh comes. He is so cute. I hope the sermons aren’t too long either and the music better be good. I wonder what this retreat is going to offer me?

Person 2: Man, I'm excited! I'm here and ready to be blessed and learn more about God! I wonder what I can get out of this retreat. I want to get a lot out of the speaker. I hope the band picks the right songs too. And if there is anyone dumb in my small group, I’m switching. I'm so excited to worship God!

Person 3: Man, I'm excited! I'm here to be blessed and learn more about God! I want to love on my brothers and sisters in every way. I hope there will be many opportunities to serve them while we are here. I heard Josh is bringing his atheist roommate Paul too. I hope I get a chance to serve him as well.

Praise and Worship
Person 1: Ughh so many songs I don't know. I can’t even see the screen because Annie’s hand is in the way. This band doesn't seem very good. Their style is so bland. And I feel so awkward. Everyone’s hands are raised high and they are so into it. Omg…is that someone crying? Maybe, I should just sit all the way in the back.

Person 2: Man this is one of my favorite part of the retreat! I can just sing these songs on top of my lungs, so I can just show everyone how great of a Christian I am.   And how well I sing! I gotta make sure I sit all the way in the front so people can see that I am raising up my hands.

Person 3: This is such a blessing time. I can worship God musically and sing His praise together with my brothers and sisters. God, I pray that this time will be where we remind one another of the Gospel, so that we may live it out together.
