Report Tasks:
  1. A review of the organizational design failures identified in the report and how they contributed to the disaster that unfolded. (10 points) (1 page)

  2. A review of how the organization’s design failings and behaviour were consistent with, or a deviation from, the organization’s vision, mission and strategy. For NASA, it is available in the founding conditions and mission, vision of the organization‐‐including President Kennedy’s famous speech on America going to the moon. (10 points) (1 page)

  3. A discussion based on the course text, lectures and outside sources that relates how what happened, including differences between stated organizational purpose and behaviour, links to theory and research on the role of organizational design (25 points) (2 pages)

  4. An evaluation of what managers could have done instead to avert the disaster and need to do to avoid reoccurrences, including a critical assessment of report recommendations where available. (25 points) (2 pages)

  5. An audit using secondary sources on if the organization has sought to improve its practices and behaviour and if it has done so successfully or instead gone through the appearance of compliance and change rather than making real changes. (15 points)   (2 pages)

yes you're part is basically just reviewing whether or not NASA has improved its practices, culture and behavior successfully or not. Also, have they actually changed for the better or are they just appearing to do so but actually still following old practices? Yes you will need at least one external source and it can be an online resource just make sure it is from a credible source such as a news journal or article vs a blog. More sources would be better also.
