The Boston tea party took place in a small town in Boston by colonists against the British government and King George III. On May 10th 1773, The British parliament authorized the East India Corporation to send a half a million tea to the colonists of America for selling it.

      Boston tea party happened on Dec 16th 1773, a group of American colonists approached three British ships in Boston harbor, and the men were disguised as Indians. Their mission was to destroy the tea on every ship to protest on the British tax for the colonists. The Boston tea party was about growing friction between the colonists and Britain.

      In 1773 parliament passed the Tea Act, this required the colonists to purchase only British tea and it was cheaper than the other teas that were taxed. In Boston the colonists demanded the ships to return to Britain but the British refused therefore the colonists decided to take care of this problem and they wanted to show that the tax is intolerable, they did not damage the ship they just destroyed the tea.

      British closed Boston, Harbor to trade and tried to gain more control over Massachusetts. Sixteen month after the Boston tea party in 1775 the American Revolution begun. The cause of American Revolution was money and respect. As a result of Indian war the North America in 1775 was divided between Britain and Spain. Problems such as taxation without representation divided the British colonies and parliament. It all started in 1760‘s when British government needed to pay for Indian and French wars and tried to use the colonists for the money they needed.

      The French and Indian war was a war that started in 1750‘s between the French and Indian allies and the British. The British were the victorious and their prize was nearly complete control over North America .However, their prize came at a cost in huge war debt.
