The US   military in Iraq says coalition forces have killed 26 suspected   militants including 2 women during a ground in air operation in central Iraq. The military statements said the operation took place today in the north region north of backdead. It said ground forces called an air strike when they came under   heavy gunfire while searching buildings in the targeted area. The military also issued pictures on the weapons' cash and it said it's complicated during the operation. Seperately,British and Denish troops in southern Iran detained 5 leader in accordance native   raid on 5 houses on the outskirt of city.A spokesman   for coalition forces in the region said more than 1000 troops carried out the raid compliscating a large   cash of arms including Iraqis'   Iraqi and the selfrifle.
President Bush is meeting with Republican and Democartic leaders of Congress today as he   considers a   new strategy for Iraq.Thursday at the White House ,Mr.Bush said the sutiation in Iraq is bad and a new approch is needed.Speaking after talks ,the British Prime Minister Blare.Mr.Bush said his decision will be based on the recommedations of seperate studies ,conducted by the Defend Department State Department and   National Security Council as well as the Iraq's study ground.The ground released its report on Wednesday.President said he was seriously considered the ground's report but refused to accept all its suggestions.Regarding the suggestions to   direct talks   with Iraq's   neighbours and Seria,Mr.Bush said Taiwan and               must first stop   finding   terrorists in       report to Iraqi government and the economy.President priviously has rejected talk with Iraq and Seria.
