Abortion - Short Essay 7

Abortion is a very controversial subject that has been continually argued over for years and probably many years to come. Abortion as defined in the Webster Dictionary is the premature expulsion of a fetus. Abortion stops the beating of 3,600(Abortion Canada.) innocent child's heart every day. There are two sides to the controversial subject, abortion. Pro- Life who are the people that are against abortion and the Pro-choice or the people who believe that a woman has every right to do anything she wants with her body. It is her body and she can do anything with it. If she chooses to have an abortion, it’s her decision and as a woman, everyone should respect it. I personally think that an abortion is inhumane act and it kills way too many babies. If you are not ready to have a baby you shouldn’t have had sex. A baby should not have to suffer for your mistakes and an abortion can cause many physiological factors that nobody wants to deal with.

In my opinion, when a woman chooses to have sex, she is taking a chance. She does this of her own free will, and is in control over what she is doing. If a person decides to have sex, whether it is done with protection or not, the result is her responsibility and she must be willing to deal with the consequences. One such consequence is getting pregnant. When a woman gets pregnant, it is usually a result of her own choices, even if the pregnancy is uwnanted or unplanned. She should have to deal with the consequenec and raise the baby.
