The Flower is the main subject of this picture. She uses watercolour and ink to create her images, which are very bold and colourful. The detail within the picture is mainly of black lines and is very creative. An example is the thick black lines on the outside of the flower to emphasis the importance of the flower. Another is the leaves and how the black swirls off to create a leaf affect. The important line of the picture is in the leaves, where the veins are in black. The patterns consist of swirls in the background to the dots up the leaves or around the centre of the flower. The colours used are very bright and I like how they make the picture ‘happy’.
