This essay will discuss the concept of holistic health in relation to mental health.   It will also explore the definitions of health, holistic health, and mental health.   It will also outline the   influence of the media upon health awareness and health promotion.   In addition, it will explore the trends in health economy referring to multi disciplinary team roles and approaches.   Inequalities and discrimination in the health sector, current factors affecting health will be reflected, focusing on the approach to the service user health intervention and provision.   Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the course of this discussion, in accordance to the Nursing Midwifery Council (N.M.C ,2009), code of conduct.
