CAUSES OF TERRORISM

Sectarian/religious violence 

In 1979, the people of Iran get rid of Raza Shah Pehlvi’s kingship through an Islamic Revolution, who was an important alley of United States of America. USA and other Arab countries were afraid of this Islamic Revolution. They wanted to reduce the impacts of this revolution, so they name it a Shia Revolution and funded and set up sectarian organization to prevent the way of Islamic Revolution as Sipah Sahaba Pakisan and Lashker-e- Jhangvi and promote religious violence which breed terrorism in Pakstan. It is estimated that more than 4,000 people have died in Pakistan in the past 25 years due to sectarian strife.
          Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq's controversial "Islamization"
Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq's controversial "Islamization" policies of the 1980s, under which conflicts were started against communist countries especially USSR with the aid and will of USA are one of the main causes of terrorism in Pakistan. Zia's tenure as president saw Pakistan's involvement in the Soviet-Afghan War, which led to a greater influx of ideologically driven Afghan Arabs to the tribal areas and increased availability of guns such as the AK-47 and drugs from the Golden Crescent. The state in alliance with the CIA, encouraged the "mujahideen" to fight a proxy war against the Soviet Union. Most of the mujahideen were never disarmed after the war. The same groups are now taking on the state itself, making the biggest threat to it and the citizens of Pakistan through the politically motivated killing of civilians and police officials.

War on terror

The USA had to face a sudden air attack on 09.11.2001, resulted the disaster of World Trade Centre. Without any proper investigation, the USA blamed Osama Bin Laden and his organization Al-Qaida and declare to wage a war on terror by attacking on Afganistan with its alleys to arrest Osama. Under the presidency of   Pervaiz Mussharraf, Pakistan decided to become front line alley...
