Abstract idioms are the essence of language. They have many sources and many different structures. Chinese is a long history and has a highly developed language, so it has a large number of idioms. Broadly speaking, Chinese idioms, including proverbs, idioms, slang, sayings and allusions and so on. Chinese Idioms are the result of prolonged use of our people, which in the words extracted from the Chinese or fixed with the crystallization of the wisdom of our people. Idioms have a strong national and local color. Some idioms mean obviously, more idioms Zexu to understand its meaning through context. Idiom is not only the language of metaphor usage, but also a metaphor of concentrated way of expression. Many idioms are symmetrical, has a wonderful rhythm and profound meaning. As the idiom has these characteristics, in the translation of them, we must not only translated to their correct meaning, but also keep the original structure of Chinese idioms. This paper analyzes the characteristics of Chinese idioms and proposes several ways for the English translation of Chinese idioms language learner information.
