8.   The Legalization of Same Sex Marriages in the U. S. (Pros and/or Cons)

    Marriage is traditionally viewed as the legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife. Its   entitles financial responsibility, as well as authorized financial benefits. However, what happens when those two people are two men or two women? Currently in the United States there has been much debate over the controversy surrounding the legalization of same-sex marriages. Society has become accustom to what they believe is “normal” by their traditions and religious beliefs. Since the united States pretends to be a country   of freedom, its time for the government to think about   the right of the homosexual legally, socially, and economically, matrimony between lesbian and gay couples.
   
   
    Nowdays , our country has been founded on the Constitution, in which all men are created equal ;we cannot deny the basic human and legal right of marriage to a class of individuals due to their sexual preference. Many people ask themselves why gays and lesbians even want to attempt to get laws past to be allowed to get married. Why would they want to be married? Are they not happy with the relationship in which they have? Gays and lesbians are just like heterosexuals, they want there marriages to be recognized by the law. They are like any normal couple and want a marriage to prove and show their love for each other. They want that simple document that the government gives to heterosexuals which binds two people into a marriage. What exactly is marriage then? Marriage is a legal relationship between spouses; it is established by a civil or religious ceremony, and takes place between two people who intend to live together as sexual and domestic partners. Legalizing same-sex marriages may help prevent aids.
