Well, every country in the world must have a leader. And for sure Thailand also has a leader too, whom we call the king. Our king is all of Thai people’s father. He is His Majesty the king Bhomibhol Adulyadej of Thailand.
His name means “strength of the land”. He was born in Massachusetts, USA on Monday December fifth nineteen-twenty-seven. Being the third child of his Royal Highness Prince and Princess Mahidol of Songkla.
About eighteen years later, on June ninth nineteen-forty-six, he succeeded to the throne of kingdom of Thailand. Since then all Thai people have lived peacefully all along.
King Bhomibhol is known as the working monarch of the world. Our king gives all his life and soul and power to help all people in the country, no matter who they are, what they do and where they come from. He makes foreigners in another country know where Thailand is located on the world map. And also makes all people realize that Thailand is not the same place as Taiwan.
As we have seen for a long time that our king has visited the remote areas all over the country just to listen to the villagers problems and tired to improve their lives through various method and the Royal projects. More than three-thousand development projects aim at improving the living conditions of Thailand farmers and rural poor. Such as Rain Making and Agriculture.
For our king, the safety of the country and the people’s well-being must be the first things.
Have you ever heard these words? It’s been said “I shall reign with righteousness for the happiness and benefit of the Siam people.” This is the oath since the day his majesty’s accession to the throne. It meant commitment to a lifetime of sacrifice and hard work for the sake of the Thai people and nation.
To our king, no place is too remote nor too dangerous to visit. The regional palaces in the north, south and northeast have served not as places for rest and recreation but bases for the royal visit to the far corners of the kingdom so that...
