High Tensile Steel Crusher Intend to Application

Tesab Engineering has launched a new tracked cone crusher in the shape of the 1200TC that the company says completes its range of crushing and screening equipment. The new machine features transport dimensions of 3.8 m (12.5 ft) tall by 17.5 m (57.4 ft) long and 3 m (9.9 ft) wide, and weighs in at 45 tonnes.
According to the company, the 1.2 m diameter cone crusher unit is a proven design that has established itself in static applications in Scandinavia and Australasia. It features a large opening that can accept up to 250 mm feed size and has a high reduction ratio of up to 16:1. Four sizes of concaves are available with a shared common mantle size and the closed-side setting of the cone can be adjusted while crushing is underway.
The boom development has been assisted by the high level of expertise that Palfinger has accrued with aluminium - aluminium booms are only mounted on the 3.5t chassis. Palfinger has established an "Aluminium Competence Centre" at its plant where the company has developed high level skills in aluminium processing and welding.
"Customers are fully confident in the strength of the aluminium booms," says Mr Kulawik, "which have the additional benefit of not corroding."
Older standard driving licenses in Germany and other parts of Europe such as the UK still allow the holder to drive a vehicle up to 7.5t so the self drive rental market for this size of vehicle is still active. At Bauma next year - 2013 - Palfinger Platforms plans to show more developments in the 7.5t class and a very big machine on a 5-axle chassis - although not, Access International was told, anything over 100m working height.
The 1200TC is intended for applications such as hard rock quarrying, closed circuit crushing with screening plant and concrete recycling. Safety features include a metal detector system with automatic clearance design on the feed conveyor and a large hydraulic accumulator to protect against tramp metal.
