Chaplain

Hey Band!
I am running to be Chaplain of the Brazoswood Buccaneer Band. Chaplain is a member of an organization who provides pastoral needs of the members; they help them to understand life’s events more fully as they relate to their spiritual and emotional well-being. The Chaplain will also offer prayer or reflection.
I would like to obtain the position of Chaplain for various reasons. One of the reasons is that I have a burning love for God and a strong belief in his word. I want to share the love he has for us with everyone around me. I feel that the best way to express this would be through being Chaplain. The second reason is that I feel that God has called me to spread his word and a great way to pursue this would be through being Chaplain. I do not think I would have a greater opportunity to do this while being in high school.   My third reason is that while I am helping other people grow closer to God and with their walk with Christ; my faith is also growing as well. I will be able to see the spectacular miracles God creates a lot closer than before.
I believe I should be voted in for Chaplain because as I’ve said before I have a great love for God and want to share it. I want to show people his word and how much God really loves them. I try to do all my actions in Christ; I try to show God’s light through me in all that I do, especially in band. Some day’s life can be hard and stressful and if you need a word of advice or verse to help you through, I will be the first person you can come to for that. As being a leader of the Buc band I would try my very hardest to be sensitive to all the members and try to be an inspiration even when times are rough. I would look past and not dwell on the negative things going on around and focus on the wonderful positive aspects and emphasis them more. I truly want what is for the greater good of the band and if you vote me for Chaplain you are sure to get it!
