Advertisement Applications in prescribed Form are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of 45 (Forty Five) vacant posts of Police Sub-Inspector in Pay Band - 2 9300-34800 and Grade Pay 4200/- in Goa Police Department by direct recruitment. The number of vacant posts is likely to increase. 2. The following are the minimum qualifications required:Age:- 20 to 25 years as on 31.07.2011 (Relaxable for departmental and ex-military personnel in accordance with the orders or instructions issued by the Government from time-to-time) a. Departmental candidates upto 40 years as on 31.07.2011. b. Departmental SC/ST candidates upto 45 years as on 31.07.2011. c. Ex-Servicemen by 3 years over and above the period of service rendered in the Army, Navy and Air Force as on 31.07.2011. Essential (For Male candidate) 1. Degree of a recognized university or equivalent. 2. (a) Minimum height of 171 Cms. (b) Minimum height of 167 cms for Departmental candidates. 3. Chest - Unexpanded - 80 cms. and expanded - 85 cms. 4. Should undergo Physical Efficiency Test which will carry no marks but will qualify for further tests, as follows :5. i. 100 metres Run in 15 seconds ii. Long jump - 3.80 metres iii. Shot Put( 7.26 Kgs ) - ( 5.60 metres ) iv. High jump - 1.20 metres v. 800 metres run in 2.50 minutes 6. Should pass written and oral examination conducted by the Police Department. 7.
