love i think that studying romeo and juliet is important because it teaches us to end "feuds" before they end our lives. since the families hated eachother romeo and juliet had to keep their relationship a secret. but the families had other plans for them so in the end romeo and juliet both died. if the two families could have put aside their differences earlier then the two innocent tennagers wouldnt have had to kill themselves. it also teaches us to stand up for our beliefs. if the two would have told everyone they were "going out" then maybe the two families could have worked out their problems. another reason is that we can learn some amazingly huge new words!! reading romeo and juliet is like reading a thesaurus!!! -???
