DESCRIPTION OF ATLANTI CARE, MISSION AND VALUES
Atlanti care is a nonprofit health care organization in southern New Jersey, which delivers acute and chronic care, preventive and at risk services, and health information services. The system employs about 5,100 people, making Atlanti care the largest health care provider in the region. Atlanti care has achieved market advantage with a diverse array of services delivered through a comprehensive distribution network and continues to grow in both system revenues and patient volumes. Atlanti care applies the concept of an demic of health to its community health care efforts, understanding that the organization mission to deliver health health and healing to all people through trusting relationships” and its vision of building healthy communities   can be realized by involving everyone- staff, patients, and members of the community in health improvement. Part of the efforts focuses on three services designed to promote health and well being at every stage of an individual’s life. Atlanti care core competency is the integration of these services 1 health care delivery, 2 health engagement, and 3 health information. Atlanti care is committed to building healthy communities through partnership with local organization that share its interest in health (ie employers, union, payors physicians, churches, schools community organizations etc). Through these organizations, relevant and trusting relationships with their constituents are established around shared management of their individual health status. Atlanti care believes that each of us can make a difference one individual at a time, and by so doing so, build healthy communities. As an organization we are confident we have a leadership, talent resources and most importantly, the commitment to act as the catalyst in what we refer to as the epidemic of health (EOH) to produce truly healthy communities here at the jersey shore and our region.
