As a graduated high school student, I am concerned about my career plans and future prospects in the chosen by me sphere of education- Applied Biology. I have been wondering what characteristics my future university should have in order to help me prosper in this field. Definitely, Bonn-Rhein Sieg University provides a unique academic atmosphere for its students, giving them a high standard, world-wide recognized education and a modern insight into contemporary science and explorations. The international recognition and academic level of this university strengthen my belief that this is the institution I want to attend. Being a person who prefers practical learning, I am pleased to see that the University offers its students well-equipped laboratories and gives them a chance for making researches.
      My multiple interests and eagerness to know more make me believe that I will be able to flourish in a multidisciplinary Bachelor program like Applied Biology. Combining human biology, microbiology, genetics and cell culture this program would give me a broad approach to the subject and a variety of future career opportunities. Observing my career plans, I see myself working as a genetic engineer, modifying human genes or creating new types of crops. It’s my life-long ambition to deal with the removal of inherited cancerogenic genes of in-vitro made babies and making researches in this modern practice. Therefore, I am positive that attaining a Bachelor degree in Applied Biology and then a Master degree in Biomedical Sciences in Bonn-Rhein Sieg University is crucial for me to gain the skills and knowledge I need in order to achieve my goals, because I know that prestigious educational background is of a great importance for any professional development and success. I truly believe that my knowledge of biology and my ability to do research, I have acquired at my High School, will help me cope with this challenging program.
