It is the 12th-largest steel producing company in the world, with an annual crude steel capacity of 23.5 million tonnes, and the largest private-sector steel company in India measured by domestic production.[3][4]
Tata Steel has manufacturing operations in countries including India, China, the United States and the United Kingdom. Its largest plant is located inJamshedpur, Jharkhand.
