Location

TOPIC   1:   FAVORITE LOCATION
A lot can be said in a location.   For instance, people say we are products of our environment.   Giving one place the title of my favorite can be difficult because, I have many places that I’ve liked.   Many of those places were good because of the people there that made them good.   A certain place can also convey memories that were good for me.   If one had to be chosen though, it would have to be at a family dinner.
I was a military brat, we moved often and home was where we all were.   We lived in many different houses, but all of them had a dining room where our family table was. It was a Long, reddish colored cherry wood table, with lots of seats to fit the family.   My mother at one end of it, and my father at the other, I was usually a full house.   The family consisted of two sons and 3 sisters including me.   My mother, the cook of the family would usually have everything ready around early evening time.   This gave everyone’s busy lives time to catch up to the table, so we could all eat together.   The kids would come home first, with mom starting up the kitchen with whatever that night’s menu was.   Then comes my older siblings who usually had something to do after school, so they came home a little later then us.   Last was the father, who came home from work to find 5 hunger and ready kids to get this party started.   My mother was an awesome cook, we ate a wide variety of meals my mom knew, but on special days we had our fathers cooking, which was always a treat, even though he wasn’t a very good cook at all.  
The reason why I picked this as my favorite location was the fact it was at wherever the family was at that time.   It was usually warm and comfortable and included the people I love.   With that, it can be anywhere.   The dinner table is also a place where many great discussions were had.   Funny jokes from the siblings to big announcements.   The fact that my mother could cook was just a bonus.   My family surrounding me also...
