Recently, I ‘ve been thinking about how beautiful a real friendship can be and how important it really is. Friends are extremely important and friendship is major part of our lives, especially for us teens! As you know, we all go through bullying, fights, drama at school, struggles at home, breakups and much more. And true friends are there to help you through it all.

I can not even begin to explain how grateful and lucky I am to have the friends that I do. To be honest with you, I don’t have a great number of friends, but the couple wonderful friends that I do have, I know are true. They are always there for me, no matter what is going on in my life or I what am going through.

Knowing I have good friends is a wonderful feeling, and being a good friend is an even better feeling.

So…

What makes a good friend?

A good friend is honest.

A good friend is fun, unique and interesting.

A good friend is attentive and adaptable.

A good friend is supportive of you and your goals.

A good friend is a someone you can trust.

A good friend is someone who you can talk to about anything.

A good friend makes it clear that they care about you.

A good friend sticks with you in good times and bad.

A good friend accepts you for who you are, even when you’re being a butthead.

There are MANY things that make a good friend, and those are just a few. But a friend is the best thing you can have, and the best thing you can be.
