The Different words and Meanings

Densely Populated – Densely populated basically means a larger than average number of people for a given unit of space.

Development – How a country is increasing the living standards for everyone in it.

Economic Growth – When a country becomes richer e.g. China and America.

Economy – How much money a country has e.g. China’s economy is increasing rapidly.

Energy Consumption – How much energy something uses e.g. A house would require electricity for everything in the house.

Environment – Everything that surrounds you.

Environmental – Something that is caused naturally.

GDP – The gross domestic product (GDP) is one the primary indicators used to gauge the health of a country's economy.

Greenhouse gas emissions – How many greenhouse gases like co2 are given off

Human – A type of species

Interdependence – Interdependence is a biological term now applied to various fields of study. It deals with how different organisms or organizations interact and depend on each other for survival.

LEDC – Less economically developed country

MEDC – More economically developed country

Migration – Migration is a term that is used when you are refering to a group of people who are moving from one country to another, people are not the only ones that migrate birds do as well.

NIC – Newly industrialising country e.g. Brazil.

Physical – Being Physical means how much exercise you do and how sporty you are.

Political -Political means involving or characteristic of politics or parties or politicians, of or relating to your views about social relationships involving authority or power, of or relating to the profession of governing. Political refers to relationships of interest within a community, whether that community is large or small.

Population – Number of people living in one area.
