Taking a look at the daily products around, it is not difficult to find out that competitions between companies are everywhere. Indeed, as market economy is developing rapidly, the level of market competition is also growing in an increasingly high rate. Therefore, companies are always seeking the methods of making more profits in order to gain competitive advantage.
Fortunately, people have realised that they could make use of IT to help them. With the development of IT, its implication has been popularised among business fields. Definitely, IT can play a vital role in terms of gaining competitive advantage. Also, IT improves the effectiveness and the efficiency in the business management (Gordon, 1999, p.9).
