The concept of ‘reading’ is to learn, to impact knowledge,   to grow, to experience, to empathize, to understand, to marvel, to wonder, to laugh, to live other lives in other places and times and   to deepen a connection with place.
Reading that impacts knowledge, encompasses a broad spectrum of activities such as reading, watching, and playing. I value all kinds of reading experiences which provide enjoyment, knowledge, understanding, and relaxation. Be it a book, a movie, a game, or a piece of music – reading reaches out to the world for me.
Reading is an experience and a warehouse of knowledge. When i read,   i get a number of knowledge and information that is being developed or have evolved though.   Reading and continual reading has been a major source of knowledge and something that is very important in my life and major key to my success in life.
Reading as a process and science has brought many forms of knowledge that has improved my personal thinking and enhances my skills or expertise in my field of endeavor. I can now fill the free time, calm my mind and reduce my burden and can disseminate the knowledge gained from reading to others.
I read to impact knowledge when I check my email, when I download songs, when I sort my bills from the ones I must pay now to the ones that can wait a little longer. The act of reading is an everyday function. The act of taking time out to read the story behind the recipe, the description of the engine space, the context of the game, all are integral actions which inform and enhance my experience. Reading for me isn’t just about escaping into a world of fiction; it’s also about providing context to our environment, both real and imaginary and thus enriches my life.
Reading has made me who I am today. It has sharpened my personality and identity as do all experiences. I am a fuller and a more rounded person because I read. I am able to imagine and empathize with others. I learn things that help me in my daily life and I...
