A Time to Remember
It all started in 9th grade, as I was traveling to first period I saw her standing at the lockers. She was extremely cute and soft spoken when I started talking to her, and it seemed like we had a lot in common like music and video games. After class we decided to hang out and get to know each other some more by trading questions and we seemed to really hit it off once we hung out after class. To me it was a great start to the year.
Our first date was a bit strange, when I arrived at the mall I saw her standing in the foyer pacing back and forth with a worried look on her face. Approaching her, she runs up to me and embraced me strongly, as if I had went off to war and cried out to me that she missed me. Normally this would not have been too big of a problem, but I was early. We went inside to pick a movie, usually I don’t care much for picking movies and today was no exception so I was willing to let her choose. She choose your run-of-the-mill chick flick chock full of enough tears and drama to create an ocean. I wanted to refuse and suggested a different movie, but her begging accented by cute blueberry blue puppy dog eyes caused me to cave.
When we got into the theater she pulled me up into the highest seats and sat me in the corner. At first I thought she was just a corner person but then I noticed her staring down the other women in the room, almost like a jealous dog guarding its bone from the other dogs. I thought nothing of it at the time. The movie started and I was just not enjoying myself, but she was elated at the time. I got up to get some snacks from the concession but she didn’t want to let me leave, I had to assure her that I was coming back and to not worry, but she was almost convinced I was abandoning her.
When I got finally got outside in the open air I saw a female friend of mine. She was seeing another movie with her friends and we talked while getting the snacks when my date came running out towards us. “Who...
