Sub:   Request for help and cooperation for the marginalized and tribal people of West Bengal.
Dear Sir,
We are a voluntary organization.   We are registered under the West Bengal Government.   We are working for 20 years with the tribals and marginalized women, men and children.   We are working for the people of Bankura and Purulia.   We want a solution for their food and clothes.   Along with their problem in clothes, we are also helping to sort out their social problems.   For a long 20 years, we have done work in the fields where people have not worked with at present.   These works will be a remarkable evidence in the days to come.

We are making the women and children self-employed.   We are giving training to the tribal boys in journalism.   We are training them in journalism so that they can speak about themselves.   We have trained them for many years and we have published a full length newspaper “Adibasi Sangbad.” We are doing various types of activities.   Some examples are the distribution of clothes and books, educational expenses, the arrangement of marriage of the girls without taking dowry, Manimela formation for the mental and physical development of the children and religious practices and participating in games.
Research on folk culture and tribal culture, writing books, and Jhumur Song Research Center was established at Khatra of Bankura district.   ‘Sarada Prasad Kisku Memorial Library” has been set up at Bankura.   The library is located in Santal palli near Khatra.   He was a popular Santali poet, writer and the leader of the anti-witch movement.   Three kotahs of land were donated for this library.
“Adibasi Press Club” has been set up in Anandapur, behind Ruby Hospital. The head of “Khoj Khabar” Dibyojoti Basu has inaugurated the club.   We are doing our work for the physically challenged.   Those who are physically fit and able to do work, we are giving training in preparation of plates, cups, and fishing...
