Ultrafine grinding process design and equipment selection is very important in the preparation technology of ultrafine powder, so both wet and dry ultrafine grinding technology should be taken into account according to specific conditions. Ultrafine grinding process has different classification methods with different processes, cost of diamond washing machineand this paper focuses on the choice of dry and wet ultrafine grinding technology.
ultrafine grinding machine
For ultrafine grinding of non-metallic mine, with general fine degree of D97 ≥ 5um, such as calcite, talc, Silicon ash stone, etc., under current classifying technology conditions, priority select dry ultrafine grinding technology and dry ultrafine grinding equipment, such as Raymond mill, classifier, raymond mill for dolomite roller crusher machine, high-speed impact crusher, ball mill, vibration mill machine, mixing machine, etc. Some of the equipment has built-in classifier, so matched superfine granularity grading machine is need in the production, to produce qualified products meeting the size requirements.
Dry ultrafine grinding process has simple process, and the subsequent filtering, quartz sand production linedrying and other equipment are not needed. Dry ultrafine grinding technology has features of easy to operate, easy to fulfill automatic control, relatively low operating costs and so on.
If a plant need to produce superfine powder under D97 ≥ 3um, or the finished product is as paste or cake, wet ultrafine grinding technology should be taken. In addition, if the shredded material itself is paste, then no matter what’s the requirement on the final product size, give priority to the wet ultrafine grinding technology, because for only superfine crushing and grinding operations, wet ultrafine grinding technology has better crushing efficiency than dry ultrafine grinding technology, and the wet ultrafine grinding technology has lower energy consumption.
