Benefits of Healthy Food
Food always will be an important part of our lives. Because of its significance, food is used globally. We have food all around the world and it varies depending on what part of continent or country we live in. The reason we have variety of food types is the originality of each of us. We choose what is the best for us and what is more accessible. People have different opinions about the utility of the food we consume. It is really important to understand the main reason food was invented in this world. Our wrong, unhealthy choices of nutrients can easily destroy our bodies. In order to stay healthy, people should think healthy. I believe a healthy, well balanced diet; along with physical activity, is the foundation of good health. Eating in healthy manner maintains body’s function, helps to manage healthy body weight and plays an important role in prevention some serious diseases.
Quantity and quality of food we intake is very important. In order to feel energized during the day, we have to limit our diet by consuming only essential nutrients our body needs. Consumption of a right amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats make us feel full, so we do not have to open up the refrigerator every hour looking for food as we do when we eat junk food or just snack all the time. When I eat a healthy breakfast, I feel more productive and much more active than I would do after visiting a fast food place or after having a bag of chips. From my own experience I can say that a healthy meal fills you up but makes you feel light, boosts up your self-esteem, and your mood. Eating a lot of unhealthy foods, in contrast, can take a toll on person’s body. You feel sluggish, irritable, and you do not have a lot of energy. Also, a generous amount of food can cause stomach problems, which definitely ruin the mood for the whole day. You have no interest in doing anything, you become lazy and waste your precious time.
