Hammer crusher is suitable to crush all kinds of medium hard and brittle materials, like coal, cement, plaster, alum, brick, tile and limestone etc, which has a compressive strength less than 300 million mpa and humidity not more than 15%. Today, river sand mining process the hammer crusher is considered as an ideal product and widely used to make artificial sand.
Working principle of hammer type crusher
The main working component of the hammer crusher is the rotor which is composed by the main shaft, disk, pin shaft and hammerhead. The rotor motivated by the electromotor makes high-speed revolution in the crushing cavity. The raw materials enter into the machine from the upper inlet and are crushed, impacted, cut and grinded to powders by the high-speed hammer. Below the rotor, there lies the sieve plate, from which the materials after grinding smaller than the screen size flow out, while the coarse grains larger than the screen size will be stopped on the screen and receive continuous crushing and cutting. At last they will be discharged out of the machine from the screen plate.
The common malfunctions and solutions:
1. Too heated bearing.
Reasons: lack of grease; excessive grease; the filthiness and deterioration of the grease; broken bearing.
Solutions: appropriate grease, Quartz grinding machinewhich should take up 50% of the bearing's space; cleaning the bearing; replacing the grease; replacing the bearing.
2. Too large discharging granularity.
Reasons: too much weariness of the hammerhead; the fracture of the grate bar.
Solutions: replacing the hammerhead; replacing the grate bar.
3. Reduced production.
Reasons: the jammed grate bar gap; uneven feeding.
Solutions: stopping the machine and cleaning the blockages in the gap; adjusting the feeding mechanism.
4. The knocking noise in the elastic coupling.
Reasons: the loosening pin roll; weary elastic ring.
Solutions: stopping the machine and screwing down the pin roll nut; replacing the elastic...
