Sports in schools
Some people believe that competitive sports have a positive effect on children’s education, while others believe there is no place for such sports in schools. Discuss both points of view and give your own opinion.
It is not uncommon that some schools hold sports competitions for their students, and generally, these matches is quite well-received by the students. This kind of extra-curricular activities are also supported by a number of people as a way to help   children`s   education while some other people argue against the sports since the limited space of schools. In my opinion, some competitive sports are essential to schools for their students depite a few problems.

To begin with,competitive sports benefit childrens`growth a lot both physically and   psychologically. For instance, to prepare a competition, like a basketball macth or a race, one need a certain amount of practice and exercise, which mean he or she would spent some time in sporting everyday. As we all know, physical exercise can contribute to a person`s strengh and health and make people more energitic. Apart from that , in terms of the mental improvement , a team work competition can definitely nurture students` team spirit including the sense of responsebility and corporation. They shall also perfect their interpersonal skills when communicaing with the peers and learn to be mature and generous. These character are even more vital after they entering to society.

On the other hand, however,considering competitve sports can be dangerous as well as time-taking and energy-taking , there is no need for schools to spare spots for that according to some voice . Contests tend to be fierce , exciting , so the youngsters may probably hurt each other, on purpose or not. If students and schools cannot solve the problems well, that could even elicit bullying , one of the most complicated problems for schools.
